Who am I? Well, I’m someone who considers herself lucky enough to be able to pick up a camera. It’s been a roller coaster ride since I took my first-ever portrait of musician, Matt Sevier. Being able to feed my passion for both photography and music simultaneously— that’s about as good as it gets. I’ve photographed musicians in Philadelphia and New York City for decades: shot album covers, promotional photos, concerts, and festivals— worked with record labels, magazines, concert promoters, A&R scouts, and advertising agencies. I’ve been to the Grammy’s, been back stage at some of the greatest shows, and have been fortunate enough to count some of my favorite musicians as friends.
This blog? Undoubtedly, this is new for me: a new chapter, a new platform from which to share my work, and a new place to grow. Let’s see where it goes.
Geography? I reside in Philadelphia and spend my summers in Quogue, New York with my husband, Doug Lewis, a tennis pro and— you guessed it, a musician.
How do I take my coffee? Black.
